Role overview

We’re looking for a Backend Platform Engineer to help build the core systems that power Sprig’s AI agents. This role focuses on scalability, reliability, and clean system design.

You’ll work on the foundations that enable agents to run safely and predictably in production.

What you’ll work on

• Building and maintaining core backend services

• Designing APIs and internal tooling for agents

• Improving system performance and reliability

• Supporting integrations and workflow execution

What we’re looking for

• Experience with backend or platform engineering

• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and system design

• Comfort owning systems end to end

• Preference for clear, maintainable code
